Captured at sunrise in February 2022 at Bow Lake, AB. I was out there capturing the milky way and by the time I was able to take these photos, the only lens that wasn't frozen was my telephoto. Telephoto lenses are great for landscapes but are seldom used, by most photographers. They allow me to focus on fine details in the mountains - details that are lost in wide-angle photography. 
I love the colours in the sky and the softness of the snow. If you look closely, you can see the ski tracks from the backcountry skiers that frequent these slopes.
